Egypt-(Berberanews)-Human rights groups claim that #Egypt has hanged seven people accused of carrying out Islamist assaults this week.
Three of them were convicted guilty in 2016 of taking part in an attack in Helwan, Cairo’s outskirts, that murdered eight police officers.
The other four were convicted of assassinating cops in previous incidents.
In recent years, Egypt has issued hundreds of death sentences.
Human rights organizations claim that a variety of opponents of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi have been targeted, not just Islamists.
