Three women were seriously injured yesterday morning in Nairobi after a private car they were traveling in collided with a matatu at the intersection of Kenyatta Avenue and Muindi Mbingu Street.
The accident was blamed on the matatu driver, who was accused of refusing to give way to the private automobile that had the right of way, by a traffic police officer on the site.
After being hit by a matatu that was believed to be speeding, the automobile overturned on impact.
