Somaliland and Norway Discusses bilateral relations

Norway-(Berberanews)-Somaliland and Norway, discussed the strengthening of bilateral relations and the establishment of new cooperation between them.

A meeting between the Somaliland Representative to Norway and Denmark, Ambassador Mohamed Mohamud Aden (Liilan) and Haakon Svane, a senior official at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Minister-Councellor) in Oslo, Norway.

Somaliland’s Ambassador to Norway and Denmark spoke to Haakon Svane about Somaliland’s progress in democracy, elections and peace, according to a press release from the office of the Somaliland Ambassador to Norway,  Mohamed Liilan.

A statement from the Somaliland embassy in Norway said, “Day by day, the world is realizing what the people of Somaliland have achieved in terms of peace and stability, which many countries have failed to achieve. The statement added that the two leaders discussed in-depth cooperation between the two countries and that the Norwegian government would provide significant support in the upcoming elections.
