Somaliland-(Berberanews)-Wadani Party presidential candidate Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi (Cirro) said he would never accept a plan by the government to extend President Bihi’s term.
Abdirahman-Cirro, said President Muse Bihi was opening the associations paving the way for an extension of his presidency. “Muse’s’ message is clear. What he wants is an extension. He is hiding in these organizations. But, that is not the point! His intention is to postpone the election and then extend it. ” says Candidate Cirro.
Cirro, who said he would never accept the government’s plan to extend the term, said; “I am prepared not to accept anything illegal at any cost.”
“We have made it clear that we do not oppose the opening of associations, and the associations will be opened legally,” he said.
Cirro said President Bihi was initially ready to hold presidential elections, but saw an opportunity in the dispute between members of the House of Representatives, who disagreed on the validity of the Political Associations Act.
