British Airways has canceled short-haul flights from Heathrow.

London-(Berberanews)-After canceling all short-haul flights from Heathrow Airport on Saturday morning, British Airways has apologized.

The airline announced on Saturday afternoon that its IT systems had been restored following technical difficulties that it claimed were not caused by a cyber attack.

Although some cancellations remained, BA stated that the bulk of flights were now departing on time.

Long-haul flights were delayed, while all short-haul flights were canceled until noon.

Passengers flying out of Gatwick or London City Airport experienced minor delays as a result of the problems.

BA said in a statement released Saturday afternoon that it was now aiming to finish the day’s flying schedule and assist clients whose flights had been canceled in rebooking.
