London-(Berberanews)-Thirteen people were hurt when a mezzanine floor of an east London tavern fell.
At around 16:50 GMT on Saturday, emergency personnel were dispatched to the Two More Years bar in Hackney Wick.
Seven persons were trapped after the fall and were rescued by firefighters.
Three people were critically injured, according to London Ambulance Service, and ten others suffered minor injuries. Four people were transferred to hospitals and major trauma centers, according to the report.
The collapse was considered as a serious event, according to Brian Jordan, strategic commander of London Ambulance Service, and crews from the air ambulance were dispatched to the scene.
Crews discovered seven people trapped upstairs on the remaining half of the mezzanine floor, according to London Fire Brigade station commander Sacha Clement.
“To get them safely out of the building, crews deployed a ladder to cross between the floor and the internal stairway,” the station commander said.
